Arthritis itself doesn’t usually contribute to a weak bladder, but stiff joints and pain with movement can make getting to the toilet in time difficult.

In addition, many people with arthritis suffer from constipation brought on by a lack of physical activity and pain-killing medication. Straining when using the toilet contributes to a weakening of the pelvic floor muscle which in turn, will contribute to incontinence.
