Childbirth and Menopause are both life-changing moments in a woman's life, but many feel unprepared when they experience bladder leaks as a symptom from it. Your body has gone through a lot and it's completely normal. In fact, it's the most common reason why women develop bladder weakness yet many still suffer in silence from the shame and stigma. However, you are not alone.
Incontinence is so much more than just a health issue. The social stigma attached to it means that millions of people are living with health issues that could be entirely treatable, because they're embarrassed to talk about it.
That's why TENA is launching Let's Pee Honest to encourage women to start the conversation surrounding bladder leaks. It's time to break the taboo and start talking honestly about this incredibly common condition.

Your bladder is kept in place by a number of muscles in the pelvic floor. As long as these muscles function well, you retain control of urination. However, when the muscles lose their resilience due to age, post-pregnancy or other factors, leaks can occur. Pelvic floor exercises help you counteract this and manage incontinence better.
Did you know that as little as five minutes of pelvic floor exercises a day could significantly improve your bladder control?
